Ohio State U Marching Band Oz Tribute 9-27-14
On Sept. 27, 2014 the Ohio State University Marching Band performed an 8-minute tribute to The Wizard of Oz as a half-time show, directed by Russel Mikkelson and featuring extraordinary drill formations by Christopher Hoch. The occasion was a game between the Buckeyes and Cincinnati.

In September 2014 The Library of America published American Musicals: 1927-1949, the first in a two-volume anthology of sixteen of the greatest librettos of the American musical theatre. Finian's Rainbow (1947), with a book by Fred Saidy and Yip Harburg, is included.
