Brother, Can You Spare a Dime? (2007). A 75th anniversary celebration of the classic Yip Harburg-Jay Gorney song that was known as the “anthem of the Depression.” This event, which included performances of songs with lyrics by Yip Harburg, talks on the “Dime” song and extensive archival photographs and video, was held at City University of New York’s Graduate Center on November 26, 2007 and featured Sheldon Harnick (lyricist of Fiddler on the Roof and protege of Yip Harburg), singer Catherine Russell, Ernie and Ben Harburg, David Brunetti and others. Conceived by Deena R. Harburg and Ernie Harburg. This is not a commercial product but copies are available from the Yip Harburg Foundation.
